    In order to achieve our business goals, Swift Oil Limited conceptualized and completed a 57.3 million liters ultra modern tank farm for her own buffer stock; also taking advantage of the increasing market demand for petroleum storage facilities.

    Our Tank Farm is located on a 2.2 hectare land along the Apapa Creek near Beachland Estate, Lagos State, Nigeria.

Facts about our Tank Farm Facility

    • A private 30 meter long finger jetty
    • 8 Nos. dedicated product tanks amounting to 57.3 million liters storage capacity
    • A loading gantry with five (5) islands and eight (8) loading arms equipped with electronic metering systems and water sprinklers
    • Two (2) Nos. electric panel control room
    • An 80 truck capacity holding bay
    • Breather valves and Sprinklers on all the product tanks.
    • One (1) No. Slop Tank
    • One (1) Fire Water Tank
    • One foam Chemical Tank for fire fighting
    • Fire protection system consisting of Two (2) heavy duty fire pumps, perimeter hydrant pipes and monitors utilizing fixed water spray and foam chemical.
    • Five (5) Nos. Mobile Chemical Foam monitors attached to the hydrant network.
    • Eight (8) Nos. Smith Accuload lll Electronic Preset Controller with Prime 4 Flow Meter, which allows for greater accuracy with capacity to load 33,000 liters truck within 15 minutes
    • Automatic Tank Gauging and Inventory System
    • Tank to Ship / Barge back loading, Truck to Tank decanting, Tank-to-Tank transfer provisions
    • Three diesel-generating sets of 800 KVA, 320 KVA and 200 KVA with Automatic Mains Failure changeover system for power backup
